Overcrowded Avenue

Pop, Jazz, & Soul from the Heart of Honolulu

About Overcrowded Avenue

Based in Honolulu, Overcrowded Avenue blends Pop, Jazz, and Soul into a sound uniquely their own. Formed in 2023, the trio brings together three distinct musical journeys:

  • Howard Nett: A Midwest-born songwriter and Bay Area veteran who has shared stages with legends like The Roots and Maceo Parker. His style is a soulful fusion of urban jazz, blues, and country.

  • Aaron Loesser: A Berklee College of Music graduate and staple of the local Honolulu scene, Aaron focuses on layering melodic textures with a driving rhythmic pulse.

  • Cris Pangaribuan: An Indonesian-born drummer who cut his teeth in the Colorado jam band scene. Now a premier session player on Oahu, he blends Motown, fusion, and pop.

Together, they are fueled by a shared dedication to the creative flame and the vibrant music scene of Hawaii.
